You can see part of three small islands in the Family Island group here.  These are about 15 miles from the marina.  The beaches are pristine and the swimming, snorkeling, and fishing are great.  Crocs don't come out here.  Actually, the snorkeling is not the greatest by our standards, which are very high, but there is coral and lots of fish and we still have fun.  The coral gets progressively better as you move towards the outer barrier reefs.
