One of the missions of the Art Gallery is to involve the community, so Patti came up with the idea of a Christmas coloring contest for the three primary schools in the region.  One of the artists came up with an original design for a picture and the schools were glad to distribute it to all the children.  The entries were then posted in the windows of the gallery (you can sort of see them) and first, second, and third-place winners were selected from each age group and school.  We donated some of the prizes.  The kids were very enthusiastic.  It was a big success and a lot of fun.
