Male Yellow Orioles have red eyes.  They also have an odd piercing call that you can hear for a mile or more.  They seem to have well-defined territories because there are several around Cardwell and we hear them in the same places just about every time we walk.  But they hide back in the foliage so we seldom get a good look at them.  We got this shot when we were in Cooktown.
