The Blue-Cheeked Rosella is such a pretty bird.  We saw a couple when we were on the Sunshine Coast but the only other place we saw them was where this photo was taken, in the little Outback town of Mt. Surprise.  There was a wonderful little campground there that we stayed at when were on our RV Outback trip.  Mt. Surprise is also the name of the local cattle station, one of those Aussie ranches you've heard about with hundreds of thousands of acres.
