Karumba is a small town on the north coast of Australia.  It is the prawn-fishing center for the Gulf of Carpenteria, the huge indentation on the east side of the north coast.  It is also popular with RV'ers (which generally are much more modest-sized in Australia).  It is hundreds and hundreds of miles from nowhere.  Because of its position on the Gulf, it faces northwest.  So you can see the sun set on the ocean here.  This is the Sunset Bar.  Every afternoon people assemble here to watch the sun set on the ocean.
