Wallabies are basically a small kangaroo.  They come in all sizes.  This Agile Wallaby is the most common species near us, typically 3 or 4' tall.  Lately we've been seeing wallabies around town almost every day when we hike.  But sometimes we won't see one for a week or two.  They live in the forest next to town and come out to graze on the grass in cleared areas.
