When marsupials are young, they have to be next to a warm body almost all the time, as it would be in their mother's pouch.  So Margit wears a cloth pouch under her sweater and is usually carrying around an animal.  In this case, you see Dorothy, the baby tree kangaroo, peeking out.  It's pretty disconcerting at times to see a head poking out.  But what you wouldn't guess is that Humphrey, who was in the previous pictures, is in there, too!  That's his tail sticking out.  He gets jealous and climbs in sometimes.  Margit was a professional zookeeper in Germany before moving to Australia so she is totally knowledgeable about all the animals in her care.  We also had an adult pademelon who she had raised drop in for a quick visit in the kitchen.
