Our friends Jerry and Cheryl from "White Dove" met a family who lived on a motu near the ocean-side (outer reef) on Bora Bora and they invited us all to visit.  They took us to the outer reef to show us how they fish and we got an amazing display of their courage diving into the waves amidst the rugged coral to go spearfishing.  But my favorite part of the day was Haumatu, the 10-year-old girl in this photo, shown holding a fish she caught with a hand-line.  Since they only spoke French, I most of the talking and she wanted to talk a lot.  She was so bright and so cute she captivated all of us.
