This is a Vanuatu buffet.  The food is mostly good but not familiar at all.  Not much meat other than fish and practically everything is cooked in cocoanut milk.  Lots of things are wrapped in leaves of some kind, laid on hot coals in a hole in the ground, covered with dirt, and slow-baked.  Some of it is really delicious.  The problem in all these third-world countries is that you know the hygiene isn't that good and their stomachs are used to it.  So you're not sure what you should eat.  But we were careful and never had a problem.
