For two weeks, groups from over 20 island groups were dancing and demonstrating crafts at venues all around Noumea.  Here are some Maori dancers who were the hit of the festival with their over-the-top ferocious performances.  They really seemed like crazy people who were going to come out in the audience and kill someone at any moment.  We have movies of many different performances.
